Marklin held a press conference this morning to introduce their new items for 2015 including LGB.

First partial list was"leaked" by G-Spur-News

This partial list includes a few US prototype items, there should be more coming

Walthers is no longer the exclusive distributer for the US, so availability and pricing may improve.

I don't know much about the WP&Y passenger cars but looking at the wiki there were sure enough other passenger car names to chose from rather than repeat what had already been done.

The Märklin Central Station CS2 shows up in the 2014 Marklin catalogue download from the Marklin US website so I assume it will be available in the USat some point.

Technically there shouldn't be much of an issue since the main AC power supply is a separate unit.
Price however might be an issue - as well as voltage and current output.
For any larger G scale layout a booster or two are a must.
