I recently had to buy a new lap top, after the old one died on me. When I started up MLS up for the 1st. time, it came up in a much larger format. I would like to reduce it in size to what I had. Any suggestions please?
The new LT is running Windows 7 . A mystery in it's self.

Bring up MLS and press Ctrl - minus to resize it smaller. Ctrl - plus makes it bigger. Or increase your screen resolution.

BTW, if you're running IE9 (which you probably are), activate "Compatibility Mode" for MLS (click once what looks like the torn piece of paper far-right in the URL box) to avoid problems. The torn paper icon will turn blue.
