I saw some threads from 2008 that indicated there was a My Large Scale Archives where members stored pictures of layouts, bridges, tunnels engines, rolling stock, etc. Is there still such a place?

Well, there "was" a file storage facility back in the day. Some years ago, the site was sold to a company that sells eyeballs [they run multiple websites with adverts,] and a few years after that the archives disappeared. The website owners never even acknowledged what they had done.
