I’ve been experimenting with roads and road looking materials but have yet to come up with something that looks right to me. I don’t like the look of pavers as my roads need to twist and turn. I’m looking for a blacktop or paved look. In PA I have to deal with winter / freezing conditions so that is a factor to consider. Thanks for any ideas.

Those all sound like good ideas to try. Last summer I basically used my track laying method. Stone dust 6” deep compacted at 3” and 6”. Then covered with driveway sealer. It looked awesome but did not survive the winter.

The sealer cracked up and sort of flaked off basically. Perhaps the asphalt patch on top of the stone dust, and then sealer to make it smooth.

That’s a great idea. I actually have some of that from a construction project. How do you fasten it to the ground so it doesn’t blow away.
