Is this the helical gear in the gearbox? i do not know if this is available as i had a similar issue with Goose #7. the gear in question is insert molded onto the shaft, and any replacement needs to be done in a similar manner. I did 3d print a replacement and it seams to be holding up.note the flat spot internally in the gear. this engages a similar notch in the axle. i used a material called durable which has some flexibility.

 

Thanks for the information. My next question is how do you get to that gear? Is it behind the inspection plate on the truck or do you have to remove the truck and motor to get to it?

 

remove the four screws on the cover plate, the shaft and bearings should come out. the one that split on mine was on the stub shaft. it has been a while since i did this.
