Ok you fellow battery power freaks. Here is one for us.

The early hand held lights had zink batteries that were very week.

It required the user to tune the light on then off to allow for the battery to recover.

That is why they are called Flash Lights.

Yup. It would only work for a few minutes, so you'd blink it on once every few seconds or so.
