I adjusted my whistle some for my Aristo Live Steam Mikado, and got it to sound better. Best at about 55 lbs. Made per Larry Banghams articles in Steam in the Garden. Apertures by Mike Ergoff. I trigger it with my Aristo's TE, Ray made me a board that enables the Mike's Rx to trigger a servo. Works neat!

Looks and sounds great! I love the bridge!!
So, how's the power on these Aristo steamers? I've been seeing them on the 'bay and wondering about them.

Studeklunker' The power is very good. Here's one of mine (STOCK) pulling (16) 100 ton hoppers and an Aristo caboose. All cars have Sierra Valley Steel wheel sets. It is good for about 40 minutes on one filling of fuel & water.

Here's another one I have that I modified into an Atlantic.
