I am wanting to scratch build the Carter Brother's cars and was wondering if you might have some advice as to what thickness the plywood should be. I was unable to find information on the thickness of Doug's kits. I would probably just use the same dimensions as the styrene, but they are in metric, and I have seen only SAE dimensions locally, which are not very close.

Thanks for your help!

Thanks for posting, gents.
That is my dilemma. It will be a compromise, whether to go thicker or thinner. 5/64th's sounds great, Tom, if you have a source. I've personally never seen it offered.

It would seem my options are as follows:

1/32" (.79375mm)

1/16" (1.5875 mm) 3/32" (2.38125mm)
1/8" (3.175mm)

Unless my math is wrong, which is quite possible.
