Doug, by the time the snow melts up there, isn't it July already? I know Scot has to deal with it until May.
For me, it's the lilacs in bloom. By the time that happens, the grass is greening up nicely, and I can tell which plants survived the winter and which ones will have to be replaced. It used to be the daily dose of Benedryl, but since moving to Colorado, my seasonal allergies have virtually vanished. Now I can actually enjoy the spring.
