Good of you to post the visuals of a iconic locomotive. Hoping that the Aster project will be finalized.

I did 844 in 1/29. Used a Pacific, added on some. Different wheels/etc.

I remembered that which is why I suggested that hopefully a manufacturer might actually put 844 (Northerns) into production. Aristo had once given some thought to it but with the present economy it is very unlikely to happen. The other Jerry

Great Video Jerry. Thanks for posting.

Was there no passenger cars due to the maintenance stop?

Was the 6936 actually the diesel in the consist behind the 844?

Isn't it a museum piece in it's own right?

If so, any significance to these two locos traveling together?

They were going to the College World Series in Omaha, UP displays them there. Engines stay in Cheyenne, the passenger cars are kept in a big building in Council Bluffs. 6936 is still use sometimes. It stopped here a few years ago with a freight train.

Jerry, Is there any way to know the schedule for 844 during the next months?I would love to try and see it for real.
