V odd.  Why am getting e-mail notification of updates to a post in which I have little or no interest?

I certainly never subscribed to the post concerned...an AMS K-4 loco and the up-grading with sound and stuff.

Little interests me less than Class 1 east coast lines of any kind./DesktopModules/NTForums/themes/mls/emoticons/w00t.gif

Donno why you're getting them Terry. Go to the thread in question and make sure the little Email me when someone replies to this thread checkbox in the upper left corner is unchecked.
