I have tried a couple different image sources, including my first-class ones, and this is what I get:

I am loading it as

< * " * http://www.my-website/picture.jpg * " * >
(as I always do, but without the asteriks and spaces)


but something is changing in the process. What is going on?

I ran into problems loading images as well. Everything worked fine until yesterday night. Now I can not load images using either the image insert icon or img tags. The forum software corrupts the URL when I preview or post.
 
I can still upload images to other sites such as the Aristo-Craft Forum and our club web site.

It just started working again a couple of minutes ago... must be gremlins!

I did, it's the thread I was on, so was the point to re-read my posts?

The question here was what happened, but seems that Shad was probably changing some things while we were posting, just about the same time the email went out.

Thanks for your reply in IrfanView about how to set the jpeg compression, saved me from being the only IrfanView user!

I guess now I'll have to find ouit about this jpeg compression thing you mentioned. Thnaks.
