I got my lastest issue of Tall Timber Short Lines yesterday in the mail...and when I went to read it today, the cover said "Issue 90 - Final". There's a letter from the publisher in front explaining that I was holding the last issue to be printed and that they were ceasing operations. I've enjoyed this magazine for years. Jim Francis put me onto it. It's a magazine about logging railroad operations and equipment and logging history for the last 140 or so years. I've particularly enjoyed the "advertisements" in it...as they were reprints of ads placed by logging equipment makers over the last century plus. I learned a lot about logging from this magazine...and I'm going to miss it.
