Hi folks.

I've been an avid modeller of armour and aircraft for a number of years now and have developed some good weathering techniques using washes, chalk, powders etc. I have recently become involved in g scale trains and would like to weather some new USA trains billboard reefer cars I have purchased. I don't however want to ruin any of the printing on the cars. Anyone have any techniques or advice on how to age these cars without losing too much of the detail? I also don't want to dissolve, melt or otherwise ruin the stencilling on the cars. Id like to cover each with some dullcoat first but am unsure of what it would do to the stencilling.Anyone have any experience doing this? I could just try some techniques on a small area of one of the cars but thought I'd ask first.

Try using bragdon weathering powers they are easy to use and if you do not like how it looks you can remove them. Hope that helps.
