I built a boxcar and attached some Ozark Miniature parts with Loctite. Any one have an ideda as to how to remove the parts without using a crowbar? Would fingernail polish remover soften the Loctite?

Your sig line gives a clue.
LockTite is loosened with heat.

Depends on which Locktite. They make a number of different products of which some are CA based and can be touched with CA remover. As Dave said, some require heat.

I'll have to check to see which Loctite I have. I don't think heat will do it...Tag Gorton, in his latest book, used Loctite to attach items to his live steamer. I followed his advice and the parts are still on my steamers.

I never knew there were so many different types of Loctite. I always went to my hardware and reached for the spot where they were kept and didn't notice the other dozen kinds. I managed to find a bottom of solvent for CA. Thanks for the insight.
