Hmmm...I tried starting a new topic in the "tools" forum, and neither the "preview" nor the "submit" buttons in the message editor seemed to work.
So...I'm gonna play here and see if I can figger it out...

Well, in this forum, both buttons worked perfectly!  What the heck???

That's the problem I've been having, since the new software started! So If you don't mind, I'm gonna' piggyback on this thread and see if...

Well, the preview worked, but the submit button first tells me that it's doing javascript, then it tells me that it's 'waiting for myllargescale.com. .. which is where it's always hung up! I'm using Firefox 2.0.0.11, just for this forum.

Gosh Darn it, that means the only way to post is to cut and paste this and stick it into a 'quick reply.' So for the record, this was initially a rsponse to Dawgnabbits.

NOW I GOT A 'TIMED OUT' RESPONSE! Shad, please help -- I thought you turned off the auto-refresh that was causing that!?

Edit: this is Exactly the problem I had before, with either Firefox or Safari.  The submit button in a regular reply doesn't work, but the submit button in 'quick reply' does.  ˜ow we'll see if I can post this edit.
