I am sure that you have all carefully read the updated terms and conditions, so if there is a lawyer or other knowledgeable person amongst us, can someone please explain what this means, and maybe it has always been there?

YOU MAY NOT

Use the Web Site to advertise or solicit to anyone to buy or sell products or services, to cease using the Web Site, to visit another competing Web Site, or to make donations of any kind, without our express written approval.

So, the way I read it, is that we are not allowed to advertise our trains for sale on this site!
We can never leave this site!
We can never visit another model railway site!
Unless we ask for, and get, written approval.
I am confused.

David, a little flaw in your reading... you cannot to advertise to solicit people to leave the site.

You can leave the site if you want...

maybe breaking it down will help de-confuse:

that is the meaning..

I do admit the the buy or sell products one needs refinement...

I'm taking it to mean:

commercial sales of products or services

and to restrict sales to the classified forum

That's the "rules" I will follow, and am double checking with the admins if this is right...
