Not to answer my own posts... but I received an e-mail from "Durango Dan" himself.... apparently he'd read the above post.

He says that while he hopes for the best as far as detailed scenes go, that the contest is more along the lines of "Show Us Your 1:20.3!" and photos of models you've built, buildings, AMS cars you've worked on, or built loads for, whatever you do, or however you enjoy your 1:20.3 stuff is fair game.

As such, it looks like I'll be sending in some photos ... though I'll have to disguise the plywood as best as I can. I can't say "no" to a new loco!
