Great videos everybody. I am trying to rearrange my vacation days for the coming year at work so I can attend next year. Gonna be getting me one of the new Regner Guinness brewery engines, really cool little critter in a scale that makes it a great steamer.

It was a lot of fun. I saw the Regner Guinness engine run and it runs well and slow. There even is an access hatch on top of the engine to get to the cylinders. It's hinged and doesn't lock. Scott did a great job and I'm glad he got my Red Markie Little Gem tractor in the floor segment, even if it was having issues blowing off way too early with the new safety valve I had just bought. I got it sorted after that video. Was a great few days. I wasn't sure if I could make it, had a co-worker getting married took that same week off. Thankfully I got Thursday off and drove there from FL at 330am and got there at 2pm.

Jason, what a little beauty that Guinness Brewery loco is!!!! I'm going to post it over on the g scale central and 16mm pages, even though it's 7/8ths - I could also put it there if you haven't already done so. I was just looking at it in the latest copy of GR yesterday - RTR or as a kit it seems to be great value for money!

My wife ordered me one of the Guinness locos in kit form. Looking forward to building it and the future rolling stock that is being planned. While my Piko brewery complex isnt 7/8ths scale, it will still look great with the tram engine. All the videos were awsome, I can only imagine how much better the 2nd year is going to be.

I wonder how soon the kits will be available for Jay to ship out? Looking forward to getting mine and any upcoming rolling stock. Been looking for an engineer figure with the proper Victorian attire.

Mike,

The Train Department website says March ETA, but Argyle says mid-2023, Garden Railways Limited says May/June and Regner themselves said the first orders should be available the beginning of summer.

I have seen that on youtube. Very short video but informative. There is also a nice tour of the brewery in Dublin on youtube, doesnt go into the railway part but neat to see just how large that place is.

I saw that Bob, that is totally cool. Its amazing the skills some folks have at making things in miniature. Hopefully this new model from Regner will spur more development in 7/8ths scale. Which makes many really tiny locos more viable in live steam as the boiler becomes easier to manage in that scale vs something smaller. Yet still runs on common 45mm or 32mm gauge track.
