Just finished the Hartford Products 1:20.3 scale SPNG boxcar. Using 20 ton thielson trucks, Hartfort T-17, with 26" wheels. The centerline of the coupler has a scale height of 30", is this correct?? Looking in Slim Lines, it looks like typical wheels are 24".

That seems incredibly high. My books are packed away in boxes while I replace the flooring in the house, so I can't check my SPNG books, but typically the coupler centerline was the same as the diameter of the most common wheel. D&RGW narrow gauge was 26", EBT was 24". ET&WNC was a bit of an outlier at 28", though they used smaller diameter wheels.

Coupler height; 26" was typical for SPNG.

Box, Stock, flat and gondolas cars I have drawings for suggest 26" dia. wheels were common.
