Hello,

I have a new (to me) LGB locomotive with tender and, supposedly, sound; the train works fine but the sound is a little chuff when it begins to run then nothing. I have the switch in position 3, the light works on the coal tender (when backing up) but no further sound. Any advice?

Regards,
Jon

Trainli has the manual for it.
There is a 9v battery for the sound under the coal. Unscrew it with a little Phillips head.

The switch on the back head of the boiler needs to be all the way on the right.
I would cycle it left -right a few times, in case there is corrosion

LGB engines only need the battery for low speed operation on DC. Also the info for sound is in the 69232 pdf manual which is just the sound tender which was available separately.
