I'm getting ready to do an upscale bash on my Annie Tender. Looking at it, to me it seems a bit too long for the locomotive. I was wondering if anyone felt the same? Also has anyone shortened thier tender? I also want to install an Airwire system, 2 batteries and sound in the tender if possible too. So this may determine how much I can shorten it.

Also, you connie owners, do any of you have a parts list and can you give me the number for the cab parts?

Thanks,
Chris

RE: Shortened Tender & Cab Question

Chris,
I just did a kitbash involving shortening a Bachmann tender. My bash was to create an auxilary tender to be pulled behind a Porter while out on MOW details. I shortened it to the point where the two sets of trucks just clear each other in a curve. It looks right at home behind the Porter. However I never planned on adding sound to my tender, so the framework inside making it rigid would not allow for me to add a speaker. But if you left it longer than I did, you should still be able to add sound.
I'll see if I can get a good picture of it and get it posted.

Good luck
