second attempt to post this

the last attempt resulted in ie locking up kicking me off.
then i could not get to mls ON ANY COMPUTER for about 10 minutes. (web site not found error) When MLS did finally come back up, I was loged off.

All I had done was tped some info, no formating. I covered three topics,

it looked sort of like this.

having the following problems:
CHAT
chat is loosin the top line where the settings are.

POSTING
I have not cuceeded in posting anything lately

FTP
I can no longer get to my web space

FORMATTING
formatting seeme to have changed

VIDEO
While I had no problem imbeding video a few months ago, it no nonger works

Spell checker button installes the IESPELL fine but it still does nopt work on mls, and clicking the little ABCcheck button says iespell is not installed and installes it again. ie spell works fine on the yahoo and bachmann forums. (VERY FRUSTRATING as I have used ie spell for years.

OK, so I thought I'd format the text a little to make it look better.

I highlighted the word "CHAT" on the second line and pressed down arrow on the dropdown box labled "Format", from the dropdown list I selected "Heading 1"
I'll do t hat again . "NOW"
WOW That wasn't what I wanted at all. So I changed it back, Everthing went small again
I double clicked on the "CHAT" heading and tried again.still everthing went big I decided to preview to see if it really was making all the text big. that is when it locked up. .
Now, I'm going to submit this and try to edit it later.

Knock off the "bitchin"
You should have remembered "Be careful what you wish for".
Now you have made things "worse" for all of us.

All I was trying to do was point out that several of us wanted the image icon added early on, and most of us were NOT having any problems posting images with it, so as a result were going to punish the many to please the few.

Now lets see what happens when I drag an image from my gold space to here in the quick reply entry box.

OK, it put the text from the address here as plain text, not underlined or anything

I'll do it again and add the img tags around it manually.

There is no preview button so I'll just submit it.

Well I'll be danged!
It worked. It even converted the plain text in the picture URL to a link to the picture.

Next I'll try to us the reply instead of the quick reply.

First, I drag the little icon in the address line of my picture to here.

OK,that looks the same as in the quick reply.

Now do it again and add IMG tags manually.

Now I'll try a preview.

The preview worked, but all the lines of text were running together. (I had each sentence typed on a second line.

Spell-check worked here too.

Gary, the slash in in the wrong place on the closing tag.. it needs to be /img with the brackets instead.

Well preview is really screwed up. The gray quoted area has one long run on sentence, with the picture in the middle of the sentence. And the whole window is about twice the width of my screen, I have to a horizontal scroll to see it all.

I'd say the preview is useless, It gives me no idea at all what the post will look like.

Well, at least it didn't crash the system.

But, the little note at the bottom of the post informing people of the edit is missing.

Next I'll delete this post and re-add it....

Well there isn't any delete button, so, let's see if I can recreate an earlier post.
Here is one on making my canopy road.

Preview looked OK except for a missing blank line prior to the pictures, AND the thin white lines between each picture.
Spell-check still works.

" border=0>" border=0>
With fingers crossed, I press "SUBMIT"

The new one has a little white line between each picture. Not a huge problem but spoils the look of the post.

We found this old station.

Almost a ghost town. So we waited.

Finally, this character dressed like Emmett showed up.

Ally talked to him for half an hour.

Finally she got her new friend to pose with him.

With a little more charm, she got him to let her in the cab...

... and blow the whistle.

Then she asked if she could drive the train.

Well Gosh, I never even got to blow the whistle.
