Sorry to hear that, Mike. Please offer my condolences to all, if you know the family.

Just on day earlier, our car community lost one of its nicest PR guys, Bob Carlson, a model train geek, who was the public relations manager of Porsche Cars North America.

What a dreadful disease...

Thanks Mike, I was going to look up and see which issue his RR was featured, and share that.

Dec 2003, I had him autograph the copy for me.

Hi All,
Thanks for you kind words. Gary was my Dad and he is missed very much. I am greatful for him that is was quick and painless.
If you knew him, you know the trains were an excuse to build the models. Whenever there was anyone coming over, he'd work extra hard so the trains would run. Otherwise, he really focused on the modeling and layout design. I love the model work he did and really admire his level of achievement. I am also very proud to have several of his models and will always treasure them.

Please keep Ione in your prayers, as she is taking this pretty hard.
Thanks again,
Laura Smith
