I remember riding behind the real 4501 when I was a young boy on one of the special excursions where Johnny Cash was in the cab. I was quite young, but I have some memory of the ride.

I just rode behind the prototype with my family a few weeks ago at TVRM. That’s a great looking model and it seems like it is running really well! I had no idea that Aster made the 4501

It’s my favorite because it is the first steam locomotive I have ridden behind. I went to go see it a couple of years ago.
