Another neat Critter for your stable! Sorry that I will not see it run at DH--we are going to Cabin fever this year.
I'll bet that what Kent is proposing for the brass gears and chain is Neolube graphite coating, which is intended for applications such as this. Unless you prefer the bright brass, of course--it's your critter.

"Right outside the door to my workshop". Larry, the next step after you complete the track is to run a spur "right into my workshop". Now, I'm not talking from personal experience, or anything like that, or am I???? This then leads to rearranging things inside to make room for more track, and on it goes. Have fun!

Larry, How about bringing the truck up here this week so we can see how it does in the snow. I'm sure we can rig a plow for it! Maybe I could use that hot water dribble as an ice melter???
