What is the trick again for making your reply NOT be a part of the quote?
I thought it was "hit enter/return a bunch of times to "get beyond" the quote"..
but that doesnt work..
So what do we have to do again?
I cant make it work..
After the editor window opens, click somewhere within the content area, then use {Ctrl+End} key combination, which puts you at the bottom and outside the quote.
The "Enter" key is an actual character that gets stored in the text being displayed in the edit box. Thus it just gets inserted before the "END OF QUOTE" directive that is stored, invisibly, in the text. If you use the "Ctrl-End" or hit the "DOWN ARROW" key, those are only directives to the cursor to move someplace else in the displayed text, do not become part of that text but only move the cursor to someplace else so you can insert characters at a new place. Once you get the cursor beyond the "END OF QUOTE" indicator (which you cannot "SEE", but is there anyway) then what you type will not be included in the Quoted Text box. but appear outside of it.

ok..lets test it out!
I put the cursor right at the end of Steve's sentence,
Then hit ctrl-end,
then started typing my reply..
(wow..I have been actively using computers every single day for about 15 years now, and I think this is the first time I have EVER pressed the "end" key..never even noticed it was there! " align="absmiddle" border="0" />
