Kim and I went to the Railroader's Memorial Museum in Altoona today. One of the super neat displays is a mockup of a Pennsy K-4s backhead. While it may not be exactly right in layout for other locos, most late steam and superpower locos will have similar appliances. So I figured it will give scratchbuilders and detailers an idea how BUSY backheads are SUPPOSED to look. I left them huge on purpose.

What do they do? I couldn't get a single shot of the diagram due to glare so you'll have to check on against the other
