Hi, A great Way To Promote our Hobby.
THE GREATER VANCOUVER GARDEN RAILWAY CLUB recently managed to promote our hobby in co-operation with a local shopping mall allowing us to set up our portable track over a two day period and we received a great response from the public and people wanting to join our club with their families. Nice to see a layout in public place, not a special train show where mainly train-minded people look, and I have often wondered what the general non-railway public really thought of our hobby. The good thing about our scale is it is usually outdoors enjoying trains with others, not a solitary thing like HO scale shut in a room or basement.
Well done for all involved as it's a huge effort to put on
