No more bitching about multiple image posts not working.. I just did it myself just fine using the forum code IMG tags... No technical marvels or anything here... Just plain old images the way they used to be on the old forum.

The sad part is, my backyard still look almost exactly like this 3 years later.. only with more weeds.. Maybe one day I'll get some track down.

Well Shad thats a great big yard and nice area you seem to live in..:) Only one Bitching I have Is were is the darn Train tracks..../DesktopModules/NTForums/themes/mls/emoticons/angry.gif

Yup... you made your point and I haven't had to many problems with my old Gateway posting pic. I'm older and learning the hard way all of the time. Its just not all of us have the same programs that will work on on or all links. Like Trying to couple up train cars from difference manufactures using there couplers to hook together. So there is always going to be someone out there is going to have problems no mater what we do. /DesktopModules/NTForums/themes/mls/emoticons/blink.gif

So Back to the back yard./DesktopModules/NTForums/themes/mls/emoticons/sick.gif
No reason I can see you saying no time to do anything.. "Horse puppies Shad." You have young ones that is passing time in front of you that are growing fast.. There nothing like getting kids involved with a basic layout.. You ever seen kids get down on the ground and watch a train go by. Ever watch kids put small rock and plebes around tracks or help just landscaping with any thing they can set around it. Thats family get-together. So Yup.. I'm Bitching...... No trains tracks and if you have time for your family you have time for your trains with them. This is a wonderful family time.

Now I'm older(73)and missed a lot so hope to pass this on..I know that you will probably come back and say it's non of my business on how we do with our trains, but I have watch so many train buff lose track of time for the short time we have on this planet and Family time is lost in sharing this time. Girls love trains as much as boys do and take some time for you to.
Now stumbled off of my soap box trying to get down.
Have a good day and you we can delete this if you want..
God bless./DesktopModules/NTForums/themes/mls/emoticons/wow.gif Noel

I'll second Noel's post. I got a Stainz when the girls were 2 & 4, maybe 3 and 5. They loved running the train around, putting 'people' in the cars (roofs seldom got to stay on then), and stopping at the station after a couple loops around the track.

Now, I'm 81, the girls are 22 and 24, never play with the trains with me anymore and where did the time go???

It takes so little time for the young ones to grow up. The couple across the street had a baby girl shortly after we moved in. She was outside yesterday practicing volley ball shots with her older brother. Where DOES the time go??

Shad,

OK, now I will BITCH!! Where did the toolbar that USED to be between the "Body" field and the "Subject" field go? I liked that I could take any pic from any website and resize it as I entered the code. Did you have the software people automate that feature?

Where is your railroad? I can't think of a better workforce than what you have scratchbuilt! We were giving our friend Russ a hard time because he seems to only buy rolling stock, but never track. What good are engines and trains if you can't run them anywhere?! Right along the fenceline looks perfect for long trains...

Maybe we need to start having MLS interventions where a crew turns up one Saturday and gets railroads built.

I have a plan.. By the end of the summer, the 6th picture should look completely different.. I'm going to be taking a good portion of the sod up from the fence and hopefully building a short 2.5 to 3 foot retaining wall around the garden. I'll back fill that wall so that I have some mountains to run along and through, while hiding the veggie garden at the same time... Time and money.. Both resource I have little of...

I've decided to hold off buying track till Aristo's code 250 is generally available. Why start now at double the cost?
