Well it was a cool, windy day that ended with rain. But the coolness made for nicely visible steam plumes. Here are some shots from my flickr steamup set. We were honored to have Dave Hottman visiting and showing us his modified, high-performance locos.

Again some great pictures from Ed.

I had planned to make it to the meet but got caught up in some personnel business at the house. I was surprised by your weather report as in the Galveston part of the area it was great weather all day.

It sure looks like you folks had a good time (who ever had a bad time at a steamup?); however, John does look like he was a might chilly.
