Not too long ago someone posted photos and descriptions of using wire mesh with poker burners. Photos showing effects of wrapping the wire mesh on the outside and inserting the mesh inside the poker burner compared to no mesh mesh at all. I've been trying to find the thread but no luck. I am not sure the post was on GSM or another forum. If anyone can help me find it I would greatly appreciate it.

Go the the 16mm Yahoo site. That is where the discussion about/pictures of the poker burners. I think it was about a Accucraft Garrett.

It's not Kevin's SST article or a thread in the Informative Threads.

The thread I'm trying to find is the one that had 3 photos of a burner flames during bench tests showing the effects of applying/using wire mesh with poker burners. Description of each photo:

1. Poker burner flame with no wire mesh
2. Poker burner flame with wire mesh wrapped on the outside of the poker.
3. Poker burner flame with wire mesh rolled-up and inserted inside the poker burner.

As memory serves I remember the photos were embedded in the post, which limits the MRR/Live Steam forums to search.
