The achievment is even more remarkable for the fact that the images were taken with land-based based telescopes, not the Hubble.
Computer controlled adaptive optics have revolutionized ground-based telescopes. Wait until the next next generation of super-sized scopes comes online, all equipped with such adaptive optics.
Great, it's bad enough we just demoted poor Pluto,
People are still contesting that decision. hehehe Now they've decided to call such "dwarf" planets "plutoids." Where's it all gonna end?
