Hi!
My name is Sébastien and I'm from France
I own two Wilesco engines (D16 and D20) for a few years and wanted to go further in live steam by running a locomotive
I acquired a beautiful Aster Schools class 4-4-0 that has never been run because of binding on the left side
After dismantling it I noticed the left crosshead nut is misaligned to the slider
I tried unbending it with pliers (and silicone between pliers and silicone not to scratch the crosshead nut) but since I'm afraid of breaking it I do not dare to apply enough force to move it
Since I am not able to solve this by myself I registered to this forum in hope of getting good advice from knowledgabel people
A particular thanks to Fred/sncf321e who shared the manual of the Schools class from his website and added a link to this forum
