The J&B line recently liquidated and transferred assets and rolling stock to various other local short lines, and the SC&M was in need of a nice (non plastic!) logging caboose.
So #504 was acquired

The unit was in excellent shape, it just needed the update the road name, so the paint shop went to work

Did the logo and freshened up the barn red paint, then out for a spin

PS: I simply copied and pasted an email with the above text and photos into the forum post. So easy!! I am liking this new site rebuild

Interesting, I see them in my post. I will re-do the post, perhaps my glee at copy and paste of an email was unwarranted!

Thanks for the note Jason, good to know. No copy and paste apparently, which is fine. Easy to insert photos other ways
