I just got a new GP-40 and I need to put Kadee couplers on it. Anyone out there done that yet? I checked the Kadee web site but they don't list a conversion for it yet. I have a SD-45 and was thinking it was probably the same a that, as Aristocraft isn't going to reinvent the wheel with evert new loco. Any thoughts?

Kadee's website has the couplers listed for the SD45 as 787s. The few pictures I have seen of the GP40 looks like it has the same front and rear pilot as the SD45 but, you would definatley have to check to see if it is the same mounting pionts underneath.

After several years of debate,I have started converting all my engines and as funds allow my rolling stock. Aristo and USA couplers come from the factory mounted extremly low and are certainly not prototypical to scale. /DesktopModules/NTForums/themes/mls/emoticons/sad.gif
