Hey guys i have a Bachmann 2-4-2 that needs a drive wheel. and i need a rear wheel set for it. Well the arm is what i need but i am sure i am going to have to buy the arm and wheels.
Can someone tell me where to find the parts. I have sent bachmann a e-mail but no reply from them yet.
One more thing is there any where i can find online maunals for this unit. Thanks

I e-mailed Bachman about some broken parts on my shay. Never did hear back from them. Then about 2 weeks later the parts just showen up in the mail.

I saw one of these entire engines for sale at the SELSTS over the wknd for $75 in a box...lemmie know if I can help direct you to the seller...I bought a Climax from him!

George, I would not hold out too much hope for parts from Bachmann, since this loco is long out of production. I would suggest trying to find one one on Ebay for parts. I have seen them go for as low as $35, but more often $50 or $60. I would call Bachmann at 215-533-1600. They close for lunch from 12 to 1 EST. Ask for Parts Department!

Think i am going to wait and see what bachmann tells me. And then if they dont have parts for them i will see what i can do about finding one.
