If you want to see some neat old pictures of what was once one of America's top cities, check out http://wnyheritagepress.org. A spent about two hours looking at pictures of grain elevators, factories, railroad stations, grain ships, and even a company (Gould, I think) that manufactured railroad couplers. Anyway, too much to describe and a trip down memory lane for some of us (are you reading this Ronholder?).
