MTH Water Column

I can't find the thread, either here or in the archives, about rebuilding a water column. I think it is made in O by MTH, but could be wrong. Any help out there? Thanks in advance for any help locating this.

Thanks Steve. Now all I have to do is find one. The link in that post to krrb is a dead one.
I've had one outside for a least a year now:/DesktopModules/NTForums/themes/mls/emoticons/blush.gif

It's just about visible in the left of the picture (the then-new Bachmann Spectrum Mogul/DesktopModules/NTForums/themes/mls/emoticons/wow.gif was the main subject). It's located between the 2 parallel tracks of a curved passing siding, so "theoretically"/DesktopModules/NTForums/themes/mls/emoticons/tongue.gif can "service" either track.;) In reality, it's actual function is to mark the recommended "watering spot" at the summit of my mainline for my Accucraft live-steam Shay:cool:, since pumping cool water into the boiler drops the steam pressure; if I add water at the "column", at that point I'm starting back down-grade, so as soon as the boiler pressure's back up to at least 10 PSI (typically within 30 seconds of when I stop working the hand pump), I can still start a "tonnage"/DesktopModules/NTForums/themes/mls/emoticons/tongue.gif train rolling while the pressure's continuing to build. It's survived well outside (although the chain has realistically rusted /DesktopModules/NTForums/themes/mls/emoticons/whistling.gif somewhat), I just usually try to check it's position before running a train past, in case a gust of wind has caused it to swing out /DesktopModules/NTForums/themes/mls/emoticons/unsure.gif over either track.;) Tom

Scroll down to bottom of page and click the Find It icon, which brings up a list of MTH dealers, and MTH is listed clicking that entry it shows that supposedly as of 05/01/2008 /DesktopModules/NTForums/themes/mls/emoticons/hehe.gif:D they have them in stock

Thanks guys,

As always, the MLS Family comes through. I have started my search for one today.
Greg,

Nice. I did a search too and found I can walk two blocks and buy one!! That's even worse than finding a cheap one on line...

Well, now that I have one of these, it is time to do some surgery to lengthen the column. I checked out the original column and find it is about 13/32 in diameter. A 5/16 brass tube fits over the existing top and bottom, but the spout and counter weight will NOT go over this tube. I can bore out the weight, but the spout is too small to bore out to 5/16. The 13/32 tube is just right, but how do I get the old tube/column off of the top and bottom fixtures. Any suggestions? Again, thanks in advance.
I found it to be closer to 5/16". I used an aluminum rod to replace the original column.
