Mike Chaney is not the 'machinist' for Catatonk Locomotive Works, Mike Chaney IS Catatonk Locomotive Works, and has now, I am reliably informed, retired.

Many of the custom builders over here in UK confine their efforts to UK prototypes, but Peter Angus is a name that crops up from time to time where one-off 'odd-ball' models are concerned. His work [and I've seen a lot of it] is of the highest standard - he specialises in articulated locomotives, BTW - but he is VERY hard to contact.

Like many of his ilk, he is a slow deliverer, but worth it in the end. On the other paw, you sound as though you want the loco next week.

That, Sir, just ain't gonna happen.

Casey, What are your drawings like?, Would you be prepared to
except a Boiler Certified in Western Australia?, You are looking
at 12 to 15 Months if we had a tailwind!.
What Steam Pessure did you require?.

Just thinking,
John.

I did hear that Mike Chaney is retired. Jerry

Yessir, Mike chaney IS retired, as I said in my post up the page. Since he only lives about forty miles from me I called him up about two years ago, and those were his first words to me.
