Hi all,


I’m looking for some close up photos of the area circled in the photo below. 

I’m building an E-6 Atlantic type loco, but I can’t figure out how this part of the valve gear is supposed to go together. If any of you can post a close up photo of this part of the loco, I would appreciate it. I just can’t figure out how that rocker arm attaches and how it works!

Do you have access to the Model Railroader Cyclopedia Vol.1 ? There are elevation drawings as well as prototype photos for the E6 Atlantic as well as the K4 Pacific.

The upper horizontal rod can be moved up and down in the bracket with the curved slot. That whole assembly pivots back and forth. I hope they were helpful.... if not, I can probably shoot a video this weekend of it in motion.
