I’ve been experimenting with roads and road looking materials but have yet to come up with something that looks right to me. I don’t like the look of pavers as my roads need to twist and turn. I’m looking for a blacktop or paved look. In PA I have to deal with winter / freezing conditions so that is a factor to consider. Thanks for any ideas.

Good idea Greg..... How about "Rooftop Asphalt" mixed with some fine sand, to suit your needs..... for a finer texture?
-- Or, what is the liquid used in road "Chipseal" (a polymer?) which hardens & remains semi-flexible(?), again mixed with fine sand to suit.....?
-- Or, pehaps if one has deep pockets, he could try "Flexi-Seal".....?
