I know that Loctite 222 is the right threadlocker to use on our engines and cars.  How long does this stuff last in the bottle?  Does refrigerating it lengthen it's life span?  For our purposes, does it really ever go bad?

In auto repair, we had it go bad. It crystallizes, but hey, we never got the lid on tight anyway!

I have 2 bottles of 222, and 2 of 242, been open and on the shelf for 7 years, still works fine.

Ditto TOC.  Mine (222 and 242) still work after 5 years.  680 (really strong stuff) as well
