I know this is blowing my own trumpet a bit but I am "chuffed" I got a cover shot and good pictorial article on my old layout in the magazine "Narrow Gauge Down Under" that is also distributed in the USA but probably mostly by subscription so do find a copy if you can.
I have attached a cover shot of my C-21 in steam as teaser, the article I wrote is about why I do live steam in the garden as it stimulates all four senses of operating actual real steam with sight, sound, smell and touch outside in the real world that no electric model can really replicate so I hope I can get some converts with this. If not the images should stimulate some ideas anyway.
Hope you can find a copy or contact the magazine editor to buy one and he will send you a copy, I like to support those who help promote live steam in our small scales.
OK I'll get off my soapbox now and put the trumpet down.

Congratulations Russell! Your passion for steam, and the Colorado NG, really shows! Would love to see the pictorial article..... your frequent contributions to this MLS Forum are always appreciated, too. Blow yer own trumpet all you like!! Now that you have become a "Published Author" and famous, we all will be harassing you for more! 🤪

Thanks everyone and I am proud of that image I took and it's as taken, with no cropping except to fit the magazine page.

I like magazines so do support the few that are left as this where you can see great images, plans and articles that you can keep and find in many years to come. This is something not yet appreciated by the younger enthusiasts who struggle to swipe and find where that image or info was on Facebook from just a month ago let alone years ago !

Also magazine images are viewed bigger not just on a tiny phone screen so better detail and study is absorbed by our brains. Trouble is now the cost of delivery ( and fewer outlets ) make publishing a magazine a very expensive business.

I like the communication with electronic means but social media info is very fleeting and to me useless, that's why I like posting here on a forum site that while it has it's limitations I can look up a persons old posts and view what was commented on, ideas and images. Just looking up my old posts reveals a lot about me and my modelling so do dig around a bit as I also look up your old posts with lots of info, not quite a magazine but MLS will do for me.
I'll get off my other soapbox now and put the loudspeaker down. ;)
