As part of the Lone Star Region NMRA Convention,

http://www.kingswayrc.com/ncrowd//div8/

a visit to Zube Park for rides on large scale trains was part of their schedule. G-gage live steamers were invited to volunteer to run their live steam models on the G-gage track at the Zube Park facility.

As an incentive to volunteer, we got a BBQ dinner which was very good.

A good time was had by all.

Hey Steve! We missed you on Thursday evening.

Good live steaming and good BBQ. You missed a good one.

Here's another photo from the Zube Park gathering. Can you name the owner of this live steamer?

Finally got the chance to post the video I made at Zube of Caleb's Western maryland Shay,
Dave Young's Coal fired SRRL 24, Sailor Don's SRRL24, Art's SRRL and Chuck's Aristo "Mike" and short consist of cars. The noise in background was the 7 1/2's that were running for the NMRA members who were there for a BBQ

Art,

Nice video clips. We sure had enough SRRL 24's that evening.

Do you have a video of Caleb's grasshopper? The still photo doesn't do it justice. To see the beams, push rods and cranks thrash around as it charges down the track is really video material. :D
