pretty hard to find a different motor to fit, those are usually Buhler.

do you have the part number? Did you try onlytrains.com or trainli.com?

I guess all you can do is measure yours, and then get the specs on the replacement motor.

By the way how did the motor expire?

So, the first 2 places are TrainLi and OnlyTrains, so you have done the basics.

Searching that Buhler number, all you get is distributors (and of course the worms are not on the motor)

What is the LGB part number. I'll ask some of my friends.

yeah, looks like E161892 is the motor alone without the knuckle drive part attached.

I'd ask TrainLi to try to order from Germany... I found some listings in Germany, but almost all say they were out.

What happened with the motor? Perhaps it could be repaired.
