Dose anyone know the wearabouts of Kevin O`Conner, He was into developing

a Radiant Type Burner, I read a couple of his Posts elsewhere but could find

nothing more to follow up on the subject.

I would appreciate it if some one could point me in his direction!.

Thank you,

John.

Thank you for the reply, and yes I have, thats probably the Post I`m referring too!, I`ve had

4 Strokes which have affected my Short Term Memory and I make these mistakes as a

matter of course these days.

That is the Post I`m referring too!, I found it most interesting and couldn`t understand

why there was little or no followup on the subject.

Thanks again,

John.

John, there was much discussion on the old site (which is still available). Here's are a couple of links to what I thought were kind of pertinent to what I want to do.

But there are many more, try using a site specific search of the old MLS web site by entering something like this in google "radiant burner site:archive.mylargescale.com" it comes back with this:
Click on this google example

Also try different search words like "radiant mesh" or "poker burner" or "burner mesh", use your imagination.

The only problem is when people start deleting the linked pictures from their first class web space to make room for newer posts, then you might not be able to see what they're talking about. And don't be bothered by what people might think about your short term memory issues. I suffer from CRS and have nothing to blame it on.

Dave,

Like the Sea Dawg!
Wonder where that came from?

Yep! Even though I like Winky Dink, the dawg with an eye patch was hard to pass up. Thanks Bruce!

John, if I understand your question correctly, I'd have to answer no. Most of the free cycles of my brain tend to only be train related. Otherwise I'd end up with too many hobbies and no time for any of them.

While I was still active duty USN, there was a time when I lived on a 30' sailboat, rode a Harley and had a lifted CJ-7 jeep. The problem became this: a good day for sailing or riding or 4 wheeling was also a good day for cleaning the teak, polishing the chrome or swapping out a burned up clutch disk.

I try to stay focused, one day at a time.
