I've searched the web and every forum I could find, but found nothing about addressing this particular situation:

Four Ultimate-series USA cars are in the shop to be upgraded to Kadee 820's. No problem with mounting 1/8" shims... however, the cut lever rod lies across the path of the coupler shank!

What have you done to address this problem... remove the lever entirely? Bend it up over the top of the coupler box? Cut it off at the coupler box?

Looking for(constructive)suggestions please! Pictures would be nice.

Dan,

The cars I have came with extra uncoupling levers. They were bent to fit over the box and into the same hole.

Trains...

Duh!

Ever have one of those days when the Madcow is worse than it is on other days?

I will now slink away quietly and look in the boxes.

Thank you!

Denny Crane!!
