Like many K28 owners, I have found the lubricator cap a bother to remove and reinstall. As I understand it, a number of owners have rigged "T" handles for their filler plugs. I've come up with an alternative which uses a 3.25" long K&S tube which just fits over the plug. I made a "T" notch in the tube and drilled and tapped the plug for a 2-56 screw. This makes it very easy to turn the plug when removing or reinstalling it and the "T" slot ensures that I can lift the plug out without dropping it.
