Hi Folks
I have a new Bachmann K27 and want to have the tender nearly empty.

Trouble is lack of info did the doors fold back and how were they secured.

Present thoughts
Shove electical mess as far back as possible
Build side tanks
Put in coal slope over speaker with a little coal.
Coal slope to follow original at the top then over speaker
Loads of rivets to look good!

Fit sound Phoenix 2.2K using three magnets on tender wheels only about 9 percent out as cant understand the complex method to use optical chuff sensors.

NEEDED Photo and or plans of door area and slope plus side tanks
Doors most needed as rest can be fudged to look good

You might want to look at my mounting of the chuff trigger magnets on my Detailing a K-27.
Also the bell and whistle triggers.

I have admired your superb work on the K27 and the driver magnets system

I use this system myself at times but think this time will revert to the 3 mags on the tender wheels

To many wires between engine and tender for my liking asking for trouble later.

As I run set trains with multiple engines it is very rare to count puffs with the cylinder movement overall
sound is wanted close to correct.

I haven't added any wires between the engine and tender, I used existing ones.
